Hungarian Parliament Building

Giant's Causeway

This beautiful places was declared as one of the World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986, Giant's Causeway is area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. The tops of the columns disappear under the sea, its form stepping stones that lead from the cliff foot. Most of the columns are hexagonal, although there are also some with four, five, seven and eight sides. The tallest are about 12 meters (36 ft) high, and the solidified lava in the cliffs is 28 meters thick in places.
The Giant's Causeway is today owned and managed by the National Trust and it is the most popular tourist attraction in Northern Ireland.

The site first became popular with tourists during the nineteenth century, particularly after the opening of the Giant's Causeway Tramway, and only after the National Trust took over its care in the 1960s were some of the vestiges of commercialism removed. Visitors can walk over the basalt columns which are at the edge of the sea, a half mile walk from the entrance to the site.

On the more cynical side, man of letters Samuel Johnson said, when asked about the Causeway, "Worth seeing, yes; but not worth going to see."

Mont Saint-Michel

Mont Saint-Michel is an island that located on the bay, approximately one kilometer off the country’s north coast, at the Couesnon River near Avranches, Normandy, France. This is a historical place in France, because it was used as an Armorican stronghold of Romano-Breton culture and power.

Mont Saint-Michel is a rocky tidal island and that at the beginning was connected to the mainland via a thin natural land bridge, which before modernization was covered at high tide and revealed at low tide. In 1879, the land bridge was fortified into a true causeway. This prevented the tide from scouring the silt round the mount.

In prehistoric times the bay was land. As sea levels rose erosion shaped the coastal landscape over millions of years. Several blocks of granite or granulite emerged in the bay, having resisted the wear and tear of the ocean better than the surrounding rocks. These included Lillemer, the Mont-Dol, Tombelaine (the island just to the north), and Mont Tombe, later called Mont-Saint-Michel.

Now this island becomes one of UNESCO World Heritage Site and was opened for commune tourist object.

The church was originally designed by Antoni Gaudí (1852 - 1926), who worked on this project for 40 years, devoting the last 15 years of his life to this great project, started from 1883 and which is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

On 1926, Gaudi was died and this project continued under supervision until Sugranyes Domenech and was suspended from the Spanish Civil War in 1936.

Cathedral of Notre-Dame, Reims

Rose window surmounts the central portal that was dedicated to the Virgin Mary. This cathedral size about 138.75 m long, 30 m wide and 38 m high in the center.

The Colossum

This was Roman inheritance. Colossum is an elliptical amphitheatre in the center of the city of Rome, Italy, the largest ever built in the Roman Empire. It is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and Roman engineering.

Construction of the Colosseum began under the rule of the Emperor Vespasian in around 70–72AD. The Colosseum is an entirely free-standing structure. It derives its basic exterior and interior architecture from that of two Roman theatres back to back. It is elliptical in plan and is 189 meters long and 156 meters wide, with a base area of 24,000 m2. The height of the outer wall is 48 meters. The perimeter originally measured 545 meters. The central arena is an oval long and wide, surrounded by a wall high, above which rose tiers of seating.




Capable of seating 50,000 spectators, the Colosseum was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles. As well as the gladiatorial games, other public spectacles were held there, such as mock sea battles, animal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles, and dramas based on Classical mythology. But today Colosseum becomes a major of tourist object and travel destination in Rome. There is now a museum dedicated to Eros located in the upper floor of the outer wall of the building. Part of the arena floor has been re-floored.

Bora-bora Island

This beautiful place’s Origin name was Pora pora, Tahitian language that mean First born, but early 19th century change to Bolabolla or Bollabolla. This island is one of Leeward group in the Society Islands of French Polynesia in Pacific Ocean. The island, located about 230 kilometers (140 mi) northwest of Papeete, is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef.

In the center of the island are the remnants of an extinct volcano rising to two peaks, Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu, the highest point at 727 metres. Bora-bora is one of travel destination in France, and the development is mainly dependent on tourist. Many resort and bungalows was built around the lagoon. But although the characteristic of the tourist destination are aqua centric, especially on the beach and lagoon, but it is possible to visit any attractions on land such as WWII cannons.

Plitvice Lakes National Park

The colours change constantly depending on the quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight.



The Plitvice Lakes had become a major tourist attraction in the late 19th century. In 1949 the communist government of Yugoslavia nationalized the lakes and made them a national park. The park was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979 in recognition of its "outstanding natural beauty, and the undisturbed production of travertine (tuff) through chemical and biological action".





The Plitvice Lakes are today one of Croatia's biggest tourist attractions. In 2000, the national park was expanded by a further 102 km².

Saint Basil's Cathedral

This Cathedral was built on 1555-1561, on the order of Ivan IV of Russia to commemorate the capture of Kazan and Astrakhan, it marks the geometric center of the city and the hub of its growth since the 14th century.

Trinity Church or Trinity Cathedral is the name of original building of this Cathedral, which is contained of eight side churches arranged around the ninth, central church of Intercession; the tenth church was erected in 1588 over the grave of venerated local Fool Vasily. The building's design, shaped as a flame of a bonfire rising into the sky, its looks like the building in Aladdin animation movies.

From 1583, this building was renovated several times, so the condition of the building well maintained and stay colorful. The cathedral has operated as a division of the State Historical Museum since 1928. It was completely secularized in 1929 and, as of 2009, remains a federal property of the Russian Federation. The cathedral has been part of the Moscow Kremlin and Red Square UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990.
