Serengeti Park

Here is the national park that famous with the annual migration of over one million and a half white bearded (or brindled) wildebeest and 200,000 zebra. The Serengeti National Park is located in Serengeti area, Tanzania, Africa. This beautiful place covers s 14,763 km² (5,700 square miles) of grassland plains and savanna as well as riverine forest and woodlands.

The park is divided into three regions, such as Serengeti Plains which consist of the almost treeless grassland of the south is the most emblematic scenery of the park and many animal live there.

Western corridor or called “black Cotton”. This region is covered by the swampy savannah, many animals like Nile Crocodiles, colobus, monkey and also martial eagle live there. This place is passed by the animal migration from May to July.
Last region is Northern Serengeti, this area is a landscape which dominated by open woodlands and hills. This place is passed by the wildebeest and zebra migration about from July to august and in November. This beautiful place also cover by the bushy savannah is the best place to find elephant, giraffe and dik dik.

The Serengeti ecosystem is one of the oldest on earth. The essential features of climate, vegetation and fauna have barely changed in the past million years. Early man himself made an appearance in Olduvai Gorge about two million years ago. Some patterns of life, death, adaptation and migration are as old as the hills themselves.

It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back.

The name Serengeti is an approximation of the word used by the Maasai to describe the area. This traveling destination also listed by the UNESCO as one of the World Heritage Sites.

Abu Simbel

One of Egypt’s miracle beside pyramid and spinx, there is Abu Simble. Abu Simbel is archaeological site comprising two massive rock temples. Located in Nubia, southern Egypt on the western bank of Lake Nasser about 290 km southwest of Aswan.

This site formed as twin temples that contain of many statues that patched on the side of temples and also on the pillar. These temple were carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari, to commemorate his alleged victory at the Battle of Kadesh, and to intimidate his Nubian neighbors. However, the complex was relocated in its entirety in the 1960s, on an artificial hill made from a domed structure, high above the Aswan High Dam reservoir.



The relocation of the temples was necessary to avoid their being submerged during the creation of Lake Nasser, the massive artificial water reservoir formed after the building of the Aswan High Dam on the Nile River. Abu Simbel remains one of Egypt's top tourist attractions.
There are two kind of temples. The Great temple and other small temple. The great temple was built and dedicated to the gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah. There are colossal statues with Ramesses II face . these statues were sculpture directly from the rock . All statues represent Ramesses II, seated on a throne and wearing the double crown of Upper and Lower Egypt.


The small temples was also called as The temple of Hathor and Nefertari, was built about one hundred meters northeast of the temple of Ramesses II and was dedicated to the goddess Hathor and Ramesses II's chief consort, Nefertari. the statues, slightly more than ten meters high, are of the king and his queen. On the other side of the portal are two statues of the king, wearing the white crown of Upper Egypt and the double crown . these are flanked by statues of the queen and the king. What is truly surprising is that for the only time in Egyptian art, the statues of the king and his consort are equal in size.

Sand Dunes Of The Sahara

I call this a beautiful world hell. Beautiful shape, but located in the very hot and dangerous place. Dune is a hill of sand built by Aeolian processes, usually with variety of beautiful shape. Dunes also form under the action of water flow (alluvial processes), on sand or gravel beds of rivers, estuaries and the sea-bed.

Some shape of dunes, including:

1. Crescentic, generally wider than they are long. The slipfaces are on the concave sides of the dunes.

2. Linear, Straight or slightly sinuous sand ridges typically much longer than they are wide are known as linear dunes.

3. Star. Radially Symmetrical, star dunes are pyramidal sand Mounds with slipfaces on three or more arms that radiate from the high center of Mound.

4. Dome, oval or circular Mounds that generally lack a slipface, dome dunes are rare, and these occur at the far upwind margins of sand seas.

5.Parabolic, U-shaped Mounds of sand with convex noses trailed by elongated arms are parabolic dunes.


Dunes are one of Sahara’s beauties. Sahara Desert is the largest desert in the world and covers most of Northern Africa. The Sahara covers huge parts of Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Western Sahara, Sudan and Tunisia. Be able to reach you through any country.

The Inca City of Machu Picchu
