Iguazu Fall

Located on border of the Brazilian and Argentina, this waterfall was a part of Iguazu River. Some part of this waterfall is also called The Devil's Throat, form on letters U-shaped, with a height of 82 meters, 150 meters wide and 700 meters long.



Iguazu Fall was elected for one candidate of the new7wonder of nature by the New Seven Wonders of the World Foundation. As one of the world tourist attraction, this waterfall can be reached from both State and territory has been divided by the National Park Iguazu (Argentina) and Iguacu National Park (Brazil). This park is set UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 and 1987.



Iguazu Falls occur as a result of volcanic eruptions that left another large crack in the earth. During the rainy season from November to March, the rate of water flow out to the falls can be reached 450,000 cubic feet (12,750 cubic m) per second. However, severe droughts occurred around July 2006 and resulted in a decrease of water volume to 300 cubic meters. However, the water flow increase anymore towards the moon back to December.



This tourism object is used for water tours and rock climbing.
