Where is Gran Canaria?
Gran Canaria is an island of Canary Island (one of island in Spanish archipelago). This island located in the Atlantic Ocean about 150 kilometers off northwestern coast of Africa. Besides that, this island also located about 1350 from the Europe. Gran Canaria is the second popular island in Canary Island beside Tenerife. The largest island in this Canary Island is Tenerife, then Fuerteventura and then Gran Canaria.

Tenerife is famous with the beach, which was the best in the Europe. The beach's name is Las Teresitas which has white sand and blue water. Besides that, you can also find palm tree in the beach, a curving bay of golden sand sheltered by mountains. Its sounds perfect, and indeed it is – even though the sand was transported from the Sahara.





Back to Gran Canaria, this island called Miniature Continent because its different climate and we can find many of landscapes, with any view of golden beaches endless dune of white sand. Besides that, Gran Canaria’s beaches also have green ravines and also picturesque village. UNESCO protect third of this island under the A third of the island as Biosphere Reserve.


With 2.2 million of annual visitor, this place has famous home stay area, which is located in south of island. With the best of Gran Canaria weather, this part has less rain and sunnier than the north. Bora-bora Island

This beautiful place’s Origin name was Pora pora, Tahitian language that mean First born, but early 19th century change to Bolabolla or Bollabolla. This island is one of Leeward group in the Society Islands of French Polynesia in Pacific Ocean. The island, located about 230 kilometers (140 mi) northwest of Papeete, is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef.

In the center of the island are the remnants of an extinct volcano rising to two peaks, Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu, the highest point at 727 metres. Bora-bora is one of travel destination in France, and the development is mainly dependent on tourist. Many resort and bungalows was built around the lagoon. But although the characteristic of the tourist destination are aqua centric, especially on the beach and lagoon, but it is possible to visit any attractions on land such as WWII cannons.

With the narrow island, the transportation on this island is limited. There just a single bus that goes halfway around the island, and back approximately every hour, so for those of you who want to visit this island, bicycle is the recommended method of transport.


Bora-bora is predestined for snorkeling and scuba diving in and around its lagoon. Many species of sharks and rays inhabit the surrounding body of water. There are a few dive operators on the island offering manta ray dives and also shark-feeding dives.

In addition to the existing islands of Bora Bora (called Motu in Taihitian), the new man-made motu of Motu Marfo has been added in the north-eastern corner of the lagoon on the property of the St. Regis Resort.

Halong Bay Vietnam

This beautiful place is located in Vietnam, especially Quảng Ninh province and divided into three of administrative district. One of the most popular travel destinations in Vietnam, Halong Bay is like a harbor with some of rock hills, but its location pushed to the land and called bay. This bay covers around 1,553 km² of area, land and beach, including 1,960 islets and most of it is limestone.
Famous as one of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994, this place was visited by many tourists. But not only because that condition, this place famous with the beautiful view. Besides that, Halong bay is also has a precious geological museum that has been naturally preserved in the open air for the last 300 million years.

The most remarkable geological events of Hạ Long Bay’s history in the last 1,000 years include the advance of the sea, the raising of the bay area and the strong erosion that has formed coral and pure blue and heavily salted water. This process of erosion by seawater has deeply engraved the stone, contributing to its fantastic beauty. For this view, with two others Vietnam’s bay, Halong Bay is recognizing as 33 most beautiful bays of the world.

Some beautiful component of this bay are thousand of isles, Thien Cung grotto cave, Floating fishing village between the rock , variation of water colors and also a pair of rock with face to face position called The Kissing Rocks.
How the bay was formed?




Based on Local legend, when the Vietnamese were fighting Chinese invaders, the gods sent a family of dragons to help defend the land. This family of dragons began spitting out jewels and jade. These jewels turned into the islands and islets dotting the bay, linking together to form a great wall against the invaders. The people kept their land safe and formed what later became the country of Vietnam. After that, dragons were interested in peaceful sightseeing of the Earth and then decided to live here. The place where Mother Dragon flew down was named Hạ Long, the place where the dragon children attended upon their mother was called Bái Tử Long island (Bái: attend upon, Tử: children, Long: dragon), and the place where the dragon children wriggled their tails violently was called Bạch Long Vỹ island (Bạch: white- colour of the foam made when Children Dragon wriggle, Long: dragon, Vỹ: tail).




The Great Coral Reef

This is the largest coral reef in the world. This beautiful place is located in the Choral Sea, offshore Queensland in northeast of Australia. The Great Coral Reef is protected under the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, which ensure this 2006 km of beautiful coral reef free from dangers form abuse by the human.

More than 2900 individual reefs and 900 islands to be part of this reef. Thirty types of whales, dolphins, and dolphins have been recorded in the Great Barrier Reef, including Kurcaci Minke whale, Indo-Pacific Humpback dolphins, whales and Humpback. Large dugong population lives there. Coral reefs is also a place of living turtles, sea snakes, fish and various types of living creatures, so that should be protected.

Great Barrier Reef has long been known and used by a quarter Aborigin and Torres Strait Islander. Aborigin has lived in that area since 40,000 years, and Torres Strait Islanders from around 10,000 years ago. So there a historical from this reef and to protect it, in 1975 the Government of Australia built The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park

The Great Coral Reef is a very popular travel destination for tourists, especially divers. Many cities along the Queensland coast offer daily boat trips to the reef. Several continental and coral cay islands have been transformed into a resort, including the resort island of pure Lady Elliot Island. In addition, this region also became regional destination for boat tours or cruise for tourists who come to Australia.
