Chokpori, just to the south of the Potala, is the soul-mountain (bla-ri) of Vajrapani, Pongwari that of Manjushri, and Marpori, the hill on which the Potala stands, represents Chenresig or Avalokiteshvara.

Potala Palace was built by King Songtsen Gampo in 637. This bulding was dedicated for his bride Princess Wen Cheng of the Tang Dynasty of China and used for meditation. In 1645, the fifth Dalai Lama, Lozang Gyatso after one of his spiritual advisers start the construction of Potala Palace and finished on 1694. From that time, this place was used as winter place by Dalai Lama.

Some of the biggest parts of this building are White Palace Portrang Karpo, Red Palace, Great West hall, The Saint’s Chapel, North Chapel, and also The Lhasa Zhol Pillar.

This beautiful place is located in the eastern Pacific Ocean, 973 km off the west coast of South America. The Galápagos Islands and its surrounding waters are part of a province, a national park, and a biological marine reserve. Abu Simbel

One of Egypt’s miracle beside pyramid and spinx, there is Abu Simble. Abu Simbel is archaeological site comprising two massive rock temples. Located in Nubia, southern Egypt on the western bank of Lake Nasser about 290 km southwest of Aswan.

This site formed as twin temples that contain of many statues that patched on the side of temples and also on the pillar. These temple were carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari, to commemorate his alleged victory at the Battle of Kadesh, and to intimidate his Nubian neighbors. However, the complex was relocated in its entirety in the 1960s, on an artificial hill made from a domed structure, high above the Aswan High Dam reservoir.

The relocation of the temples was necessary to avoid their being submerged during the creation of Lake Nasser, the massive artificial water reservoir formed after the building of the Aswan High Dam on the Nile River. Abu Simbel remains one of Egypt's top tourist attractions.
There are two kind of temples. The Great temple and other small temple. The great temple was built and dedicated to the gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah. There are colossal statues with Ramesses II face . these statues were sculpture directly from the rock . All statues represent Ramesses II, seated on a throne and wearing the double crown of Upper and Lower Egypt.

The small temples was also called as The temple of Hathor and Nefertari, was built about one hundred meters northeast of the temple of Ramesses II and was dedicated to the goddess Hathor and Ramesses II's chief consort, Nefertari. the statues, slightly more than ten meters high, are of the king and his queen. On the other side of the portal are two statues of the king, wearing the white crown of Upper Egypt and the double crown . these are flanked by statues of the queen and the king. What is truly surprising is that for the only time in Egyptian art, the statues of the king and his consort are equal in size.

The people kept their land safe and formed what later became the country of Vietnam. After that, dragons were interested in peaceful sightseeing of the Earth and then decided to live here. The place where Mother Dragon flew down was named Hạ Long, the place where the dragon children attended upon their mother was called Bái Tử Long island (Bái: attend upon, Tử: children, Long: dragon), and the place where the dragon children wriggled their tails violently was called Bạch Long Vỹ island (Bạch: white- colour of the foam made when Children Dragon wriggle, Long: dragon, Vỹ: tail).

1. Crescentic, generally wider than they are long. The slipfaces are on the concave sides of the dunes.

2. Linear, Straight or slightly sinuous sand ridges typically much longer than they are wide are known as linear dunes.

3. Star. Radially Symmetrical, star dunes are pyramidal sand Mounds with slipfaces on three or more arms that radiate from the high center of Mound.

4. Dome, oval or circular Mounds that generally lack a slipface, dome dunes are rare, and these occur at the far upwind margins of sand seas.

5.Parabolic, U-shaped Mounds of sand with convex noses trailed by elongated arms are parabolic dunes.

Iguazu Fall was elected for one candidate of the new7wonder of nature by the New Seven Wonders of the World Foundation. As one of the world tourist attraction, this waterfall can be reached from both State and territory has been divided by the National Park Iguazu (Argentina) and Iguacu National Park (Brazil). This park is set UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 and 1987.

Iguazu Falls occur as a result of volcanic eruptions that left another large crack in the earth. During the rainy season from November to March, the rate of water flow out to the falls can be reached 450,000 cubic feet (12,750 cubic m) per second. However, severe droughts occurred around July 2006 and resulted in a decrease of water volume to 300 cubic meters. However, the water flow increase anymore towards the moon back to December.

Strawberry shortcake

My son isn't like most 5 year old little boys who only love pizza, cookies and chocolate. For his birthday he wanted one of those strawberry cakes that Grandma had fixed a few months ago when she was visiting us. Well I told him that I would fix him a strawberry shortcake.

Well, at first I tried to find a recipe online with hughes net for the cake because my mother-in-law is so hard to get a hold of. I knew it might be days before she could get the recipe back to me and I only had two days. So I e-mailed her with internet service in Alpine AZ and asked her for the recipe and told her the reason. I also left her a voicemail and a message on her answering machine to cover all my bases.

She finally got back to me on her cell phone a day later, after I had already gone into full panic mode because I had to go grocery shopping and start setting up for his party. Then she e-mailed me the recipe with her highspeed internet New York NY. I made the cake in time and he loved it.
